While in Quito, Ecuador, I packed my suitcase at 2 .m and headed to the airport to take a 6 am flight home. I settled in the aisle seat, put my seat belt on, kicked off my shoes, put on my comfy socks and placed my earphone in my ear. Exhausted, I hoped to doze off.
Suddenly, I felt a tap on my shoulder, “Ma’am come with me,” the flight attendant said. “I’ll move you up closer to the front.”
Are you kidding? I was already settled in my seat. I forced a smile, trying to hide my slight annoyance; I gather my stuff and followed him.
“Here you go,” he said, “you have all three seats and you might be more comfortable.
I nearly kissed him. The three seats made the perfect bed for me to sleep, which I did during the entire three-hour flight
How about you? Are you resisting a change? God might have something better for you.
