What's Been Happening
September could be a tough month. The 7th marks the 12th anniversary of my Joe’s entrance to heaven. And 9/11 marks the anniversary we buried him. But it’s also a good month because on that date I also buried resentment, anger, self-pity, and sorrow. The reason I did is because when walking in the promises of God, death has no power, no finality, or permanent separation.
When facing the cooler weather of fall, it’s refreshing to know that no tragedy needs to be a crisis, no setback needs to be a sad moment, and even life’s disappointments don’t need to defeat us. So I cheer you on to face today as a new season—of hope, of reassurance and of beautiful expectations
