Hurricane season continues. Despite the recent devastation Harvey brought to Texas, some people still don't prepare. Others forget what happened. And still some, like two of my friends, allowed fear to nudge them to move up North.
But reality is that these hurricanes can be tracked, followed and we are given plenty of warning as they get close enough to create danger.
Not so with emotional hurricanes. They don’t give us warning. They show up suddenly with winds of destruction.
But we can’t be altered, moved or worried because we’re certain God is the one who provides the refuge we need, the shelter to keep us safe and the promise of the sunshine when it’s all over.
How are you facing the weather patterns in your life these days?
