Happy Wednesday reader!

As I addressed ladies at a women’s tea this past Saturday, I presented the word “RISE” as an acrostic.

We need to RISE above the barriers that keep us from living in freedom—R=resentment, I=irrational thinking, S=self-pity, E=excuses.

And self-pity was the one that impacted this audience the most. The best way to overcome self-pity is with a spirit of gratitude. Try it and see how true that is.
