Happy Monday reader!

Memorial Day speaks of memories. And speaking of memories we now have a great one to look back on.

We still laugh, recalling our experience this past Mother’s Day. I failed to make reservations at our favorite restaurant. So, hesitantly, the whole family headed to the place, realizing we’d have a long wait. And when we got there they said it would be about two hours. It was already 1:30. Wait two hours? Gulp.

So, know what we did? We all got on our phones and had a contest to see who could find the no-waiting restaurant. My middle son won. He found one with a 20-minute wait. The food was good. Or maybe it seemed good because we were so hungry, we nearly ate the menu! We laughed and had fun, more so than a regular on-time lunch!
